Fantastic coffee, great service and the freshest deli produce for whipping up a dinner party at home. Lest I forget, the cabinet food (in particular the ginger crunch) is to-die-for and all made in-house.

Serving ‘jolly good espresso’, this quirky (but not quaint) new café tucked into the Cashmere Hills is a must-visit for the décor alone. The bijou space is a mix of black and white modernity and tongue-in-cheek Victoriana, with a very Alice-in-Wonderland feel to it.

With a backdrop of turn-of the-century office arched windows that allow floods of light and sunshine into the café, Dose is the perfect place to come with your morning paper and wistfully pretend that winter is over.
